About Joy

I have over 25 years of experience caring for and teaching children. I am CPR, AED, and First Aid certified and a Bachelors degree in science. I'd describe my personality as dependable, trustworthy, and responsible. I like working with kids because I love to help them reach their milestones in development. I'm looking for a job that I have open communication with the parents and a peaceful home setting that I am able to help the child to grow and learn. I started working with kids when my sisters needed diaper changes when I was three but started getting paid at 12 years, taking care of a neighbor boy. In my spare time, I like to paint, walk, and paddleboard. One thing you should know about me is that I'm a proud grandma of three grandchildren. My skills include a passion for children to develop, patience, and empathy.
