Managed Shelby Co After School and Summer Camps 6 years. Certified CPR & First Aid and Professional Development classes in Child Development and Age Appropriate Activities. Have been a nanny since Aug 2021. Married to Tim-works with Shelby High School Special Needs students. Have 19 yr old dau and 22 yr old son that are amazing -blessed momma! Have taught preschool worship at Southeast Christian for over 30 yrs. The family I have been with daughters will be attending preschool. Would love to help in any way to create the family life you want. :). Now that I've been a nanny-can't imagine doing anything else!

Joy is the best of the best. She looked after my 3 children full-time for a year - I don't think they've ever had so much fun - but now we are moving!! The level of capability, love, patience, and "I'll take care of it" she offers is one of a kind. Joy regularly prepared healthy meals for the children (with careful attention to my daughter's severe dietary restrictions), I didn't even have to think about it. She would keep an eye on their schedules and plan amazing daily activities. She taught them so much - colors, manners, focus, math, playing together cooperatively, she even taught my 1 year old to use the toilet!? She can do anything! My daughters are 6, 3, and 1 - a handful - but Joy was never once ruffled or overwhelmed. I don't trust caretakers easily, but I had to travel on a few occasions, leaving the children in Joy's sole care, and I never worried for a MOMENT! She is good about either texting regular updates or not, depending on my work for the day. 1 in a million!!
