Hello! Thank you for reading my profile. You may care to know that I have worked with children from infants to middle school in various positions for over 20 years. Professionally, I have worked as a full-time nanny, toddler teacher, tutor, after school program director and as an elementary/middle school teacher. On a more personal level, I have lived a long time in Sacramento, but I grew up in South Lake Tahoe. I enjoy indoor and outdoor sports of all kinds and have an appreciation for the arts and music. I am a very positive and enthusiastic person who enjoys children and people in general. I am a mom to 3 boys and know now from a motherly perspective what it takes to care for little people. Joy is wonderful with children. She is attentive, creative, and fun! She is great at planning activities as well as routines (as needed) so the children feel secure, loved and know what to expect. She is aware of the different developmental stages and tends to varying needs accordingly.
