About Joy

Hello! I am an experienced, professional nanny with over 10 years of childcare related experience. My experience includes occasional babysitting, working as a daycare teacher, and as a nanny for multiple families. I have experience with and enjoy working with children of all ages (0-12). My caregiving approach focuses on understanding and respecting childrens emotions while setting and maintaining age appropriate boundaries. I enjoy getting outside, doing arts and crafts, playing games, and reading books with children. I try to limit screen time as much as possible and enjoy working with families that value the same things. I am also a mother to an amazing little 5 year girl who has typically come with me to nanny jobs in the past. She's now in kindergarten and would not be with me during school hours but I would love to work with a family that would be open to having her come along occasionally if needed :)
