I am responsible, reliable, and patient when it comes to working with children. I also have 10+yrs of experience working as a certified nurse assistant, and BLS and CPR certification through the AHA that is current. I am dedicated to being a positive impact in children's lives and I believe that it is important and want to share love, joy, peace, happiness and laughter with them. I'm also grateful for the opportunity, to show them how to deal with their emotions in a healthy way too. Joy came to work with us in August 2021 when my daughter was four months old. I was a first time mom and preparing to return to work from maternity leave. I don't have much family in the area and was really anxious about finding someone that would feel like family and that I could trust. The added wrinkle in my daughter's care at the time was that I was exclusively breastfeeding and my daughter would not take a bottle. When Joy came to work with us, I was immediately comfortable with having her in my home and with my daughter. She was warm, compassionate, and was so good with my infant daughter. Joy did such an amazing job as a caretaker and really cared for my daughter as if she were her own. If I could keep her as a member of my family in perpetuity, I would.
