As a child I was always bringing home stray animals ( one stray I brought home had 13 puppies much to my dad's dismay! We poked holes in the fingers of latex gloves filled with milk to help her feed all those hungry mouths --I was 10 years old at the time) My mother said I neighed before I talked : ) I have always had an intuitiveness about animals, enjoy helping them with emotional issues, especially rescues. Worked with rescues and animal shelters in South Carolina, also transporting rescues to different states for new homes. I have a great love for all animals and see them as spiritual beings who have great impact on our lives . I am gentle but firm , compassionate and able to handle many situations

Joy is truly one of a kind. She cared for our two Labs, our Great Pyrenees, fourteen chickens, and even nursed a chicken back to health with a level of compassion that is rare to find. From the moment she arrived, it was clear how deeply she understands and loves animals. Our dogs adored her and our flock was perfectly tended, and our hen wouldn’t have recovered without her gentle, patient care. We came home to happy, relaxed pets—proof of the incredible attention she gives to every detail. Joy is dependable, trustworthy, and has a heart for animals that shines through in everything she does. We are so grateful for her and couldn’t recommend her more highly. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for their animals!
