About Joyce

As a mother of three, I understand what a precious gift your children are to you. I have been involved in care-giving since I was a young teen. While raising my own children, I provided child care in many different settings:in-home daycare, nanny, preschool teacher, camp counselor and after school care. Currently, I serve as a substitute teacher in our community schools. While my preference is working with young children, I am adaptable/experienced with all ages. I am especially interested in language development, music, reading, and drama (Tutoring). Community matters to me and I volunteer in many areas. I believe children learn best through play, and exploring what interests them. I am available part-time depending on the days and hours needed. I have worked with special needs children and I am willing to discuss providing care for special children. I'm willing learn new skills to care for your child. Also: DATE NIGHT child care.
