As a mother of three, I understand what a precious gift your children are to you. I have been involved in care-giving since I was a young teen. While raising my own children, I provided child care in many different settings: in-home daycare, nanny, preschool teacher, camp counselor and after school care. Currently, I serve as a caregiver with a local agency. While my preference is working with young children, I am adaptable/experienced with all ages. I am especially interested in language development, music, reading, and drama (Tutoring). Community matters to me and I volunteer in many areas. I believe children learn best through play, and exploring what interests them. I am available part-time depending on the days and hours needed. Joyce was wonderful to work with and saved our family reunion! She was punctual, prepared and flexible. She happily watched our two infants for several hours each morning and treated them with the care and attention you would show your own children. She went above and beyond, rocking the babies to sleep, playing them music on her phone and even writing up daily reports of their activities, moods, diaper changes and naps. She is an absolute gem and we are so happy we found her. We knew our children were in good hands with Joyce and I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again. She was a joy to work with.
