About Joyce

Hello:) I have combined 25 years experience working with seniors. I am looking for a family to help or with an aging family member and help them to stay to at home as long as possible. I am a patient & experienced senior-caregiver. I've worked in Geriatrics in a hospital (St John's) and as an Occupational Therapist Aide in nursing homes, with Alzheimer patients, people with COPD on respirators, in a hospice setting and in-home, also with special needs. I can cook healthy meals, assist in bathing and dressing if needed, exercise to help keep mobile, transport if needed, manage medications & vitamins, keep company, do grocery shopping, run errands, do laundry and light housekeeping, care for pets, help with gardening, mail, etc. At this time I have a part time position, but I could do part time and I may be able to stay Mon-Fri overnights.
