Upon first meeting Joyce, I found her to be delightful with a calming aura. She was obviously very skilled, and I felt at ease that she would be able to handle the position without any issues. At first, I only hired her as a back up, as I was concerned that I could not offer her enough money to employ her for all the days I needed. Another opportunity arose when someone else I was helping to find care had an opening. I thought Joyce may be too far and didn’t even think to offer her the position at First, but then she assured me it was not far from where she currently worked and she would like to take the position. After that, I messaged her a few times to make sure everything was all good and that she would show up on the first day. However, after seeing the first message and not replying back to me, she quickly ghosted and blocked me. I’m sure she found a great position with more money, but I really do wish she just would have been honest with me
