I'm Joyce, a professional CNA who brings a calm and adaptable approach to my work. My deepest commitment is providing truly client-centered and client-directed care with the goal of fostering independence and maintaining a vital connection to the community. My passion for senior care is personal. I first saw the value of compassionate support when it helped my dad live a longer and independent life after having a stroke. My comprehensive skills set include: Advanced Support: Experience with pre and post-surgery care, hospice support and specialized training in feeding tube assistance. Mobility and Medical support: Proficient with Hoyer lift, medication reminder/administration and keen observation skills. Daily Assistance: companionship, transportation, shopping, errands and light housekeeping. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, reading and spending time with my family.
