It's very rewarding helping others & keeps me young and busy. I started caring for seniors when I retired from my career. Actually watched another care givers Mom', took care of my Mom in my home for seven years as she battled dementia/Alzheimer's. Worked two years for a lady that suffered a brain injury/dementia & just cared for more than two years with a lady with Parkinson's & dementia until she just passed. In my spare time, I like to cook, garden, spend time with family, friends & grandchildren. Play cards & games with lady friends. One thing you should know about me is I'm a Christian & avid reader. My skills include companionship, experience bathing, monitoring medicine, meal preparation.

Joyce is a wonderful caregiver. She took care of my wife who had Parkinsons and severe dementia for 2+ years. She was always on time( usually early) and was very flexible in filling in any time I needed extra help. She was very attentive to my wife and talked to her and played music even when we did not know how much she understood. I should also mention that she is a GREAT cook! Anyone who is in need of a caregiver should grab Joyce and give her a hug for me.
