Hello I'm Joyce and I am an Early Childhood Educator. I graduated from San Francisco State University in 2021 with a Child and Adolescent Degree with a focus on Early Childhood and a minor in Special Education. My goal is to obtain my Master's degree in ECE with a focus on Sensory Integration . I love to learn and I'm passionate about my work with young children. I have worked with children ages 0-5 for 10 years. My previous responsibilities as a Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher included creating an environment that stimulates play activities, Maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude, and Communicating directly with families. My personal teaching philosophy is one that nurtures each child's unique development. The developmental theory that aligns best with my teaching philosophy is both Montessori and Waldorf. I am specifically looking for a family who needs help on Monday thru Friday but I'm open to weekends as well. I will help with light housekeeping.

Joyce was a great daycare provider for my autistic (and sometimes challenging) son. She picked him up and watched him with no issues. She has a lot of positive energy which is awesome and welcomed. She was always on time, and I appreciated that she picked up the house even when it wasn't expected or asked. I loved the fact she took initiative and was out riding scooters with my son. One of his favorite activities. Bonus he was tired out! Top rating from both parents.
