About Joy

I'd describe my personality as kind, silly, and thoughtful. I like working with kids because they remind me not to take life so seriously. They have a happiness that is infectious to be around. I'm looking for a job that allows flexibility. I am working to gain experience in the technical theater industry, and I am looking for a way to make some money on the side as I continue to work jobs in industry. I babysat often in middle and high school. I also return home to Miami every year to help my old dance teacher wrangle her students for their end of year recital. In my spare time, I like to read. My favorite genres are mystery and historical fiction. I also enjoy hiking and painting. One thing you should know about me is that I am kind and patient. It would be my responsibility to take care of your kids, and I would do anything I had to to protect them and make sure they are safe. My skills include cooking/baking, emotional care and regulation, and having (safe) fun!
