I received my Level I certificate in Early Childhood Education through River Valley Community College in May 2022 and I am now working on Level II. While working on my BA (2019), I developed a passion for playful education through museum programming. I have mentored and cared for children for the past eight years. Whether as a kayak guide for older kids (8-12), an educator at the Montshire Science Museum, or caregiver at a children's center which I do now, I love working and playing with children, mentoring and nurturing their natural curiosities. I grew up in Maine, and I love exploring the beautiful outdoors New England offers. I will happily encourage kiddos out the door for walks or playing in the park, and take time to stop and look at cool bugs and plants we see along the way. Cait was a true delight! She is very intelligent and trustworthy. Her experience in museums and children's programs made my kids excited to be around her, and I felt like she would make their days full of enriching things to do.
