About Joy
Experience: 10 yrs
Former teacher looking for a part-time nanny job near the Cecil County MD or Newark DE areas. Formerly taught 5th and 2nd grades. I also have several years of experience tutoring multiple age ranges. I was a nanny throughout my undergraduate college years with children ranging in age from almost 1 to 5 years old. I previously volunteered at my former church in the Little Life room, which is taking care of toddlers. Now I volunteer at my currently church with Kid's Church with school-aged children. I have my own reliable transportation, non-smoker, very pet-friendly (except if you have a tarantula) and flexible with scheduling although I prefer daytime hours. I'm very hands-on with activities and learning opportunities. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, trips to the park, swimming, science experiments, building forts, reading or just using our imagination!
