About Jovon

For over a decade, I've found a sense of purpose in providing care and support to adults and seniors. At heart I'm a people person and always up for a conversation that leads to a good laugh. When It comes to caregiving I think of myself as an empathetic person who can help folks with general housekeeping duties and errands. Specifically, I have a lot of experience with live in care for elderly Women. I am well versed in the concrete things like managing medication, facilitating daily routines and maintaining a clean and safe household. But also as a Black woman myself, I have soft skills in understanding the nuance, (and food!) that can allow people to maintain a sense of our culture. I'm born and raised in Los Angeles, have two adult aged sons and have spent 15 years taking care of people in various stages of life and illness. I believe in building meaningful connections and am eager to bring my experience and warm personality to your family.
