About Jovie

Hi families! I'm Jovie, a current EWU Elementary Education student with a minor in Psychology and about 7 years of childcare experience. I've cared for children of all ages and love building real connections with them through games, crafts, outdoor play, and everyday routines while keeping clear expectations so kids feel safe and parents feel confident. I'm very patient and especially enjoy helping with homework (math included!). I also focus on emotional awareness; helping kids work through big feelings calmly and positively. I'm happy to help with meals, light cleaning, bedtime routines, school pickups, and whatever makes your day easier. I have reliable transportation. I'm looking for a family whose schedule fits well with mine while I'm in school and where I can build a trusting, long-term relationship. I currently have part-time availability and will have full-time availability in the future.
