About Jovana

We highly, highly recommend Jovana. We had the privilege of having Jovana as a nanny for 2.5 years for our first (and only) baby until it was time for preschool. Throughout that time, Jovana proved to be extremely trustworthy, reliable, respectful, caring, communicative, safe, and thoughtful. Her 25 years of experience as a nanny in the Bay Area served us so well as she taught us and gave us so many ideas from developmental toys, to physical development activities, to appropriate food ideas, to the best way to change diapers and potty train. Before Jovana started, we were having a difficult time getting our little one (LO) to nap. We knew from day 1 that we found someone special when Jovana was able to get our little one to take a full nap the first day! She said from the start that she follows the wishes and guidelines of each family she works with, which was true and gave us added comfort. She always followed and respected house rules and our childcare preferences. We wanted early bilingual exposure, so Jovana mixed her fluency in English and Spanish when talking to our little one, which has been greatly beneficial (our LO can now sing songs in Spanish). We brought Jovana on board during the pandemic, and as a family that was overly cautious, we felt extremely comfortable with Jovana, and we did not have any issues with illness during her entire time with us. We don't have family nearby, had just moved into the community, and are two parents working full-time, so it was essential we had someone reliable, and Jovana was just that - always on time and sometimes even with our favorite coffee in hand (her own occasional treat! Which somehow always coincided with a sleepless night. SO grateful for her thoughtfulness). We cherish our time with her as she crossed so many milestones with us, from rolling over to crawling to walking, running, and jumping; from babbling to first sentences and now singing songs in two languages; from diapers to being fully potty trained, our little one was more than ready for preschool. She encouraged our LO through each developmental milestone, and honestly treated our little one like her own - she is extremely attentive and compassionate. We could sing her praises forever, and we consider her an extended member of our family. Again, we highly recommend Jovana - she will be a blessing to any family.
