About Journey

Hello, My name is Journey. I am in my senior year at Florida International University as an online student. I hope to become a doula midwife, and I will be starting my studies for that soon. As for childcare I have had experience in childcare all my life, as I was the babysitter for my many of my relatives kids. I then became a sitter for families at my alma mater, Lake Highland Prep. As well as a summer camp counselor where I created activities for kids to have fun, while also incorporating something new for them to learn every time. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I love to help allow kids to become the best people they can be and I would love to do that for your kids as well. :)

Journey took care of our twin boys from ~10 months of age to ~20 months. She showed patience, reliability, receptivity to feedback, genuine care for our boys (and dog), initiative in teaching reading and speech and I couldn't have been more pleased. She came in and learned quickly and we felt at peace going to work leaving them with her. The boys are not easy by any means (premie, sometimes temperamental) and she handled them with grace. Can't rave about Journey enough.
