About Journey

Hi, I'm Journey. I'm 21, and I'd like to think I'm pretty energetic and creative. I am going to the UO working towards a bachelors in criminal justice with a minor in social work and I love it so much! My favorite age group is toddlers, but I think all stages have their joys and have experience with all ages. I'm CPR and first aid certified and have taken multiple courses in child development. I also have worked at child care development centers on both my high school and college campuses. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine focused, and creative space to learn, grow, and mainly have a great time! I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to go camping, read, and watch movies. I love to travel and cook as well! I look forward to meeting you.
