I have worked professionally with children with special needs and it has become a career that I genuinely enjoy and am passionate about. While working with children, I've noticed that they often become comfortable with me fairly quickly. Communication with parents is one of my highest priorities. While my professional experience has taught me many effective strategies for working with children, I would never make decisions about a child's care without first discussing them with their parent or guardian. If I am ever unsure about something or unable to reach a parent, I will continue following the instructions they have already provided and will avoid making assumptions or trying something new until I receive guidance. I believe consistency, clear communication, and respect for a family's wishes are essential to providing safe, dependable care.
