I'd describe my personality as patient, adaptable, focused. I like caring for seniors because they're the most diverse individuals I've met and would ultimately surprise you. I'm looking for a job that is at most willing to communicate and allows me the freedom to do my job. Yes, I'm there for the family but I'm patient focused care, let us fugue out what works for us and so that I can fully assist. I started caring for seniors when I moved to Wisconsin. There was a program offering to pay for cna training and I've been primarily working in long term/ sniff, rehabilitation, respite and memory care nursing homes. In my spare time, I like to keep it simple. Still fairly new to my area and trying to venture out. One thing you should know about me is that I'll do what ever possible I need to do to to do my job. I'm not one to follow restrictive routines- I'm trained to allow and respect the resident choice, encourage independence and assist with the rest.
