About Josslyn

What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience caring for a 120-pound Alaskan Malamute for over six years. I'm completely comfortable with big dogs and everything that comes with them-from leash training and teaching basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down, to long walks, hikes, and, of course, lots of shedding! I've handled all the not-so-glamorous parts too, like cleaning up accidents and throw up, so nothing fazes me. I know how to stay calm, patient, and loving through it all. Pet care fits really naturally into my weekly routine! I only work part time-- I mainly nanny and dog sit because I am a full time student at Portland State University. That means I typically have plenty of time before or after school for walks, check-ins, playtime, or cuddles. I love spending time with animals, so making them part of my daily routine is something genuinely enjoy.
