About Josie
Experience: 10 yrs
for the past 20 years I have worked with two families, on a US state department family who I joined in Moscow, moved with to the US and accompanied on a further postings in Honduras. I looked after their two young boys watching them grow from babies to teenagers. For the past 10 years I have worked for an international family based in Washington DC. Initially my primary responsibility was caring for their daughter, who was 6 when I joined the family, taking her to and from school, to out of school activities, medical appointments when necessary, and generally taking on all the tasks that one associates with caring for children as they grow up. Since she left for university I have taken on the role of housekeeper, looking after the house, cooking for the family, shopping and dog sitting as needed.
