Josie is a God send. We needed someone to care for me after hip surgery and since my wife is recovering from chemotherapy. She stepped right up and took care of the household duties, cats, and medical needs. Medically experienced, and down to earth kindness. Overall very professional, caring, understanding, and thoughtful. You would be fortunate to hire Josie when available. One of the best caregivers in the area. Great find.

Josie is the best.  Josie helped take care of my father who suffered from a traumatic brain injury, which left my dad needing to use a walker.  She helped him with everything you can think of like giving him a shower, helped him to the restroom, and changed his clothes.  Josie also made sure he would go for a walk and exercise when he can so he can gain his strength back.  She was very patient and caring for my father.

Hiring Josie was the best decision I made because it allowed my mother to run errands and even to take a break.  Josie is reliable, you will not be dissappointed hiring her.  

Josie was great with my mother-in-law. She is patient, attentive, and very caring. She was able to lift and move my mother-in-law who is not able to stand and move around on her own.  We could not have her continue with us due to a conflict of the hours we needed. She is in high demand, and rightfully so! She was very good at communicating with us about my mother-in-law's needs and about any issues that came up regarding scheduling, etc.  

Josie was great at communicating prior to the date to care for my 80 year old bed-bound mother. Upon arriving to our home, it took all of 5 minutes before I knew it was a perfect fit. She is an amazing caregiver, well versed in wound care, bed-bound patient needs and care, oxygen dependent patient care, and medication management. She brings light and calm energy to the home. Josie was easy to talk to and put mom at ease, even making her laugh. Mom enjoyed the break from ME! Thank you Josie!  

Josie's expertise was needed so very much. I had no knowledge about how to care for my suddenly stricken 99 year old mother. She took charge without my knowing how much I needed help. It was a much greater job than I knew.

Josie is wonderful! She provided respite care for my 89 year old mother who has dementia. Josie was patient, kind and caring - and was great with my mother while we had to be away. Plus she took care of our animals and things around the house. We will definitely have Josie come again when we need her - just hope she isn't already busy!

During our father’s very short battle with pancreatic-liver cancer Josie provided a high level of 24-hr care for him and was a much appreciated support to our family!

When our father was discharged from Kaiser with an advanced stage cancer diagnosis it was quickly evident that he needed 24-hr care and Josie was a Godsent. She stayed at our house for 5 days at a time on a continuous 24-hr shift.  Dad was awake sometimes more at night than during the day and Josie adjusted accordingly. She would rest when he slept and be active when he was awake. Even when he was sleeping she was often still up preparing his spaces, cleaning and cooking.

Josie helped our father in moving from bed to living room to commode, prepared meals, bathed him and kept the rooms he was using orderly and tidy. She made sure he had clean linens, clothing and we loved the special attention she paid to his mental wellbeing too. She had an upbeat attitude, positive demeanor and would make sure sunshine was streaming into his room through an open window when he was not sleeping in there.

Dad was a tall man at 6’ 2” and 150lb and even when his mobility declined, Josie was creative and thoughtful about how she continued to support him. She proposed new solutions to his health challenges as they arose. Because of her we purchased a gait belt, requested a hoyer lift and walker with a seat on it from our hospice provider, and were able to continue supporting him at home. We learned a lot from her about how to care for Dad on the two days a week she was not with us.

Josie was a true blessing to our family and my father in his last days as we loved and nurtured him. Our ultimate goal was to keep our father safe and well cared for in our home (and not a facility) up until the end of his life.

Josie made that goal a reality for us. 

Sometimes things happen suddenly and you need help NOW.  Josie was a Godsend.  Professional, kind, patient, knowledgeable and with exceptional bedside manner.  My family will be forever grateful for her assistance with a delicate procedure.  My Dad needed an Enema for a last minute emergency Dr Appointment and Josie came and helped.  Thank you Josie. Josie is providing care of my mother who suffered from a stroke and has aphasia and some other limitations.  Josie is very caring and conscientious and is trying to help my mom regain some of her capabilities.  Josie has been proactive and communicates well with the family members and we would highly recommend Josie for other caregiving opportunities.

Josie took care of my 92 year old Mother, she made her feel very comfortable, safe and happy.  She REALLY did a  wonderful job.  I would not hesitate to say Josie would do wonderful job caring for your loved one.  I would hire again if possible when my mom returns after her stay with my sisters in AZ.

Josie has been working as my father's caregiver 3 days a week since mid-November, 2018.  My father has limited mobility due to a stroke.  Josie is able to safely transfer him from bed to wheelchair.   Josie manages dressing/bathing, encourages exercises, prepares healthy meals, and helps with laundry and light house-keeping.  She is caring and professional.  My family would highly recommend her.

Josie was hired as a caregiver for our father who had pneumonia and had also been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.  It would have been easier to have our dad go into assisted living or a Hospice facility for the short time he had; however we knew he would be more comfortable in his own home.  We interviewed countless caregivers, who were all wonderful, but because he needed 24/7 care it wasn't until we found Josie that we felt we found the right match.

Josie was definitely an integral part of our father's life.  She worked as a live-in caregiver 6 days per week and was always dependable, communicating to the family via texts and/or phone calls daily with information from the medical staff that visited, as well as kept a journal of the day's activities.  She did transfers, bathed, dressed, assisted in medication management, prepared from scratch nutritious meals and did light housekeeping. Josie was truly a blessing to our father and to the family and gave us all peace of mind.
