About Josie

Hi! My name is Josie . I grew up in Lake Fenton and currently home for the summer, looking to babysit. I recently graduated from Lake Fenton High School in 2024 and now attend the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. For the past 11 years, I was a competitive swimmer and have recently retired from the sport to explore new passions. Although I haven't consistently babysat for a single family, I have experienced with casual babysitting, two years of coaching 8-and-under swim teams, teaching swim lessons to kids ages 4-8, and lifeguarding for the past three summers. I grew up with my non-verbal, severely autistic older brother and living with him has taught me patience, adaptability, compassion, and time management. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids, helping them grow, learn, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. I'm very flexible with scheduling during the summer months, though I do prefer to keep weekends open unless needed for special occasions.
