About Josie

Hi there! I am a positive, active, responsible childcare provider. I first began working as a mother's helper and babysitter over 10 years ago, and spent several years thereafter nannying for the same family, aiding with household chores (laundry, cooking, cleaning, organizing) and caring for their three lovely children. In the years since I have continued to engage with children, from a two year stint as a downhill ski instructor to my most recent position co-leading trailwork camps for middle and high schoolers. As evidenced by my background, my specialized interests include outdoor education and fostering kids' connection with both people and place. I am CPR/First Aid trained, and I am also willing to help out with housework, errands, or whatever else needed to support your family. Additionally, with experience assisting with homework and Spanish proficiency, I can help with schoolwork and other educational pursuits.
