About Josie

Hi! I'm a recently graduated registered nurse seeking part-time work while attending school full time to become a nurse midwife. I'm passionate about caring for others, especially during life's meaningful and challenging moments. I love caring for newborns and infants but am open to children of all ages. I'm available for overnight newborn care and postpartum support and am a clear communicator who is warm, reliable, and open-minded. Because I'm in school, my schedule changes about every three months, and I communicate availability clearly. I began working with children four years ago as a research coordinator with kids ages 4-8, many with developmental challenges. During nursing school, I completed pediatric and labor/delivery/postpartum rotations and am trained in pediatric CPR and first aid. I also completed doula training in 2024. I grew up in Washington and enjoy hiking, skiing, walking, and learning to surf!
