About Joshua

Hello my name is Josh. I'm 28 years old and I have been working with kids since I about 13. I'd describe my personality as energetic, kindhearted, caring, nurturing, and open-minded when solving problems. I have cared for children of all ages from infancy to teenagers, including children with disabilities. Since summer of 2016, I became a volunteer teacher at my church in our children's ministry. This caused me to go to school and get my bachelors degree in Education in 2020 at UW Oshkosh and I've taught the past five years. I've decided to take a break from full time teaching and do more substituting. I've started babysitting through this company and with the new children that were recently born into my family. Using my experience as an educator, I have integrated moral lessons from church into how I teach and care so children learn how to gain integrity and build moral attributes to use in their lives. It is a privilege to help children grow and learn new things through life lessons.
