About Joshua

I have worked with students in multiple educational settings over the past 5 1/2 years. I'm personable, passionate, easy-going, and especially, knowledgeable in mathematics. I am willing to work with all ages, but have worked most often with elementary & middle school students. Currently, I am serving as a long-term substitute teacher for regular and advanced middle school mathematics. I know math can be difficult or boring for some students, so I have learned different techniques to engage them in their studies while learning the content. After five years in non-for-profit work I am pursuing a degree in Middle School Mathematics, because I believe in every student, regardless of their capabilities.
