About Joshua

Hi! My name is Josh, and I'd describe myself as friendly, patient, responsible, and enthusiastic when working with kids. I have experience working with students from Pre-K through 3rd grade at an elementary school in NYC, where I focused on reading comprehension and academic support. Through that experience, I discovered how much I genuinely enjoy helping kids learn and grow. I first started babysitting for family friends a few years ago and later expanded my experience through my work at the elementary school. I'm comfortable helping with homework, tutoring, reading practice, and keeping kids engaged in positive activities. Outside of childcare, I'm also a performing artist who sings, dances, and acts, so I naturally bring creativity and energy into the environments I'm in. In my free time, I enjoy running, swimming, basketball, and spending time with my family and dog. I also have a driver's license and can assist with pick-ups and drop-offs if needed.
