About Joshua

Passionate and dedicated, I'm a Florida state licensed and certified (6th-12th grade) high school math teacher who enjoys seeing my students thrive. Primarily, I teach honors courses, and have a great mix of classes in my schedule. College Algebra, Probability & Statistics, and Discrete Math are among my favorite courses to teach. I also tutor students after school which I really enjoy because I can curate students' lessons to their specific strengths and deficiencies. Tutoring offers me the opportunity to individually encourage students' confidence, while providing immediate feedback. Many of my tutoring students are taking: College Algebra, Probability & Statistics, Geometry, Discrete Math, Algebra I/II, Pre Algebra, and preparing for the SAT's. Prior to becoming a high school math teacher, I was a middle school math teacher, which was differently satisfying and rewarding. Throughout my career, I've enjoyed teaching both middle and high students through math challenges & successes.
