About Josh

I started working with kids when I was in a BFA program for Acting where I performed in a touring Children's Musical specifically for neurodivergent audiences! This paired with my grandma being a 30+ year preschool teacher led me to teaching in a preschool as a Lead Teacher, working in ABA with students on the Autism Spectrum, and recently as a Long-Term Substitute in an ASD Classroom! In my spare time, I like to make art! I do all sorts of creative things from drawing, painting, crafting, collaging, photography, playing guitar, drums and keyboard, writing poetry, short stories, and children's books, as well as reading, running, yoga. One thing you should know about me is my own playful personality, I like to make everyday moments into games, songs, and an experience always! My skills include behavioral redirection, attentiveness with a strong sense of helping young children understand the world around them, and understanding of many different cultures and backgrounds!
