About Josephine

So, I started my journey as a caregiver back in high school. I took CNA training during my senior year and was hired on to the nursing home that did my training. So, I was working as a CNA throughout my senior year and for a few years after high school. I also worked for a group home setting for MHMR individuals. I took a few years off to raise my son, and now I'm working as a caregiver for a local company. I love my job! I'm pretty sure I was born to be a caregiver. The people I care for become like family to me. One thing you should know about me is that I am a smoker, but I do not smoke when I'm on shift. My skills include experience using a Hoyer lift and a standing lift, working with individuals with cerebral palsy and MHMR individuals. I have experience, and I'm comfortable with every level of care.

Josephine is an all time favorite. So many times, something has come up and she'll step in and help without much notice. She's always glad to get shifts. Our relative's house can be a real mess. It never is by the time she leaves. Every time she works with D., he calls to make sure we know how much he really likes her. She's fun and has an easy, relaxed but professional manner. Frankly, if we could afford her full time, I wouldn't be here.
