About Josephine

From camp counseling, tutoring, nannying, chauffeuring, and gaining my Early Childhood Education degree/teaching certification, I have been enjoying my work in the childcare industry for almost a decade now! My favorite activities to run with children both in and out of classrooms have always been those that are both educational and artistic! With my own background in art, I find it is a very powerful way for children to learn, express themselves, and bond. One class I instructed particularly enjoyed their time recreating a poem about how volcanos worked. Each group of 3-5 students created and performed a section of the poem for everyone to enjoy. We ended the class with laughter and an overall better understanding of how the earth works! More recently I have been nannying for children 10m-8yrs old, which creates an exciting variety of museum/park visits, theatrical imaginative play, endless games, and so so so many markers.
