About Josephine

Hi, I'm Josie! I'm pursuing my B. S. in Neuroscience at UCLA and bring a patient, creative, and encouraging approach to working with children. My experience includes three summers as a rock-climbing camp counselor and over three years of tutoring students from elementary school through college. With a strong STEM background in neuroscience research, math, chemistry, and computer science, I can help with homework, explain tricky concepts, and make learning fun. I also help students plan assignments, organize study time, and build confidence. Through UCLA's InterAxon, I've brought neuroscience activities to elementary, middle, and high school classrooms. As a counselor, I supervised children, led activities, and encouraged teamwork while keeping safety a priority. I also have an art background and enjoy creative projects and games. I value clear communication with parents and following each family's routines. I'd love to support your family with attentive, engaging part-time care!
