About Josephina

Hello! My name is Joey and I am a 19-year-old college student who has experience in childcare and loves working with children. I like working with kids because I am very active and energetic. Working with children provides unique and enjoyable job opportunity, while also leaving me feeling fulfilled at the end of the day. All children deserve to have people in their corner supporting them as well as keeping them safe and grounded. I started working with kids when I was a summer camp counselor in high school. I have experience planning and executing games and activities that keep kids occupied while also teaching them good sportsmanship and listening skills. I was a student teacher for a semester in high school for a second grade class, which taught me many valuable skills including patience and communication. In my spare time, I like to stay active by going to the gym and spending time outside. I love to travel and spend most of my time at the beach or with my friends and family.
