About Joseph

Hello, I'm Joe! I've been working with kids since I was a teenager. I started with babysitting, worked at a couple summer camps, and progressed on to substitute teaching at the willow school. All told I have 2 years teaching experience and 4 summers as a camp counselor/staff. I have experience working with children 3-18, and I especially enjoy working with kids between 4-12 years old. I strive to provide a safe, empathetic, and stable environment for the kids I care for, which means setting clear expectations and establishing routines. I am very active, and I enjoy playing outdoors with the kids. That is one of my favorite ways to engage with the kids I teach, counsel, or babysit.
