Josie is a highly qualified and experienced caregiver to children of any age with over 30 years of experience. She has a keen awareness of not only what the child needs but the entire family. Josie is one of the most loving caregivers we know and has become an extended part of the family. Josie was nanny to our first child from ages 5 months to 2 years. One of her great skills was her ability to establish a solid routine. She would feed and play with him in the morning and get him down for his first nap without any fuss. Then they would go to the park for several hours and get all the energy out. She would feed him lunch and then come back for his afternoon nap. She was active in encouraging and developing his skills, whether it was drinking from a cup, learning to walk, dancing to music, developing an ear for both English and Spanish, or cleaning up his toys. She would always ask our permission for new things and our preferences but as new parents, we found her advice golden.
