About Josef

Hi! I grew up surrounded by elders first my great-grandma (I was lucky to meet her!), then my grandma, and later in my 30s, I cared for my grandpa through his dementia journey until he passed. Elder care isn't something I learned from a textbook, I was born into it. In my African culture, caring for our elders is simply part of who we are. I'm a Psychology major with a Master's degree, and I'm currently pursuing my second Master's. My academic background gives me insight into cognitive health, patience, and compassionate communication but my heart comes from home. I understand the dignity, respect, and gentle attention seniors deserve.
