I have personal experience providing care for my father, who suffered an anoxic brain injury that caused short-term memory loss. From a young age, I helped him with daily activities like medication reminders, meal prep, organizing his schedule, emotional support, and assisting with memory tools and routines. I learned how to stay calm, patient, and supportive, especially during moments of confusion or frustration. This experience gave me a strong understanding of what it's like to care for someone who needs both compassion and consistency. It's what inspired me to offer senior care to other families, I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy and kind looking after your loved one.
