About Jorja

I am a Master of Social Work student at the University of Wyoming in Casper. I worked the last 2. 5 years with the Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming. Prior to that I helped teach dance classes to children at my old studio and about 8 years of childcare before that. I have always loved working with kids! I like working with kids because they see the world very differently. They have a lot of joy and I love hearing what they have to say. I'm looking for a job that lets me build a relationship with the kids and family. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old! I took babysitting classes as soon as I was able to and started a business with my American Girl Doll babysitters book. One thing you should know about me is I love playing with kids and letting them lead. I am a big believer in risky play and letting kids figure out their own strength, confidence, and boundaries. My skills include entertaining, comforting, and engaging.
