About Jordyn

I would describe myself as warm, patient, and fun. I absolutely love working with kids. I've been a counselor for the past three years, and have learned so much from it. I tend to around 15-20 kids at a time during each camp session, and have primarily worked with 6-year-olds. Prior to my counselor experience, I was a mother's helper. I currently have an internship at a nearby elementary school where I work with children ages PreK-5 who receive speech and behavioral support services. I have experience working with children on how to handle feelings, communicate needs, and problem solve. I will be attending college next year to major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I hope to earn my Master's Degree so that I can become a pediatric speech-language pathologist.
