About Jordyn

Hi!! My name is Jordyn! I currently work for Helper's Inc. providing in-home services, transportation, and community outings, for a man with special needs and his family for the past 6 years. Before Helper's, I was a behavioral technician and a psychosocial rehabilitation provider while studying psychology with an emphasis in developmental disabilities at Pittsburg State University. I later received my CNA license from the Kansas Collage of Nursing and began pre-nursing at JCCC. I have always had an extremely nurturing and empathetic side that I attribute to my brother Robbie, who has autism and who I believe shaped me into the person I am today. I love the work I do because I have seen how rewarding it can be and just how much of a difference a trustworthy care taker or sitter can make. I'm hoping to find a position where I can continue to offer a helping hand and making a positive impact on family's lives because after all, they do say it takes a village!!
