About Jordan

Hi! My name is Jordan. I'm a former fifth-grade teacher and stay-at-home mom who truly misses teaching and supporting students. I have a bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Education, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching. I also currently hold an Oregon teaching license. While earning my master's degree, I taught seventh- and eighth-grade ELAR (English Language Arts and Reading) and Social Studies, and I completed the necessary teaching hours for my special education endorsement. During my five years as a fifth-grade teacher, I taught all core subjects and loved helping students build confidence in their learning. For tutoring, I'm happy to work with your child's existing homework and school curriculum, or create additional lessons and activities based on areas where they may need extra support. I'm also available for part-time after-school care. I would love the opportunity to connect, learn more about your child and family, and hear how I can best support you!
