Hi! I have always had a deep love for the Special Needs Community. At eight, I met my best friend Madi -- to me she was just my sassy bestie, but to everyone else, she had Down syndrome. That friendship taught me patience and heart early on and deepened my love for this community. For 11 years, I've worked/volunteered every summer at a specialized camp for kids with special needs. That passion carried into school, then 4 years professionally in my district's special education department -- from behavioral classroom support to Adaptive PE! Now, as a private caregiver, this community has always felt like home. I'm looking for a part-time/full-time role with a family who wants a hands-on caregiver who treats their child like family. I'm outgoing, creative, and bring a lot of energy and heart -- if that sounds like a fit, I'd love to connect.
