I grew up with two special needs brothers in the household. One had ADD, ADHD, bipolar, and ODD. My other brother had reactive detachment and he is also on the spectrum. I have been a leader at overnight summer camps and help on Sunday mornings in my church in what we like to call the rainbow room. I am able to be very patient and understanding in whatever situation is thrown my way along with being able to handle anger and aggression and de-escalate the situation.
