Hello! My name is Jordan. I'm a designer/artist looking for a nanny position to cover my living expenses so I can continue to make work. I love reading and doing arts and crafts with children. I am the oldest of a huge Italian family and have had lots of experience with babysitting my younger siblings and cousins. Additionally, I have had some amazing experiences with several part time nanny positions found through care. com. I still continue to babysit for my very first family found here and I consider myself extremely lucky to have watched their children grow for the last 5 years. My wide range of babysitting experience (infant-10yr) makes me confident I am a good care provider and I would love to continue working with children. I also love animals and sometimes volunteer at Paws Chicago, so I'd love to meet your pets if you have them! I do have a car in Chicago, so I can also assist in transportation. We first hired Jordan back in August 2013 when our daughter was just ten months old and I was heading back to work part time. She was an amazing caretaker! She engaged our daughter in age appropriate activities, was attentive to her needs, communicated effectively with us as parents, and was more than we ever could've asked for in a nanny! Fast forward five years to the present, and Jordan is still involved in our lives as a dependable and ever caring babysitter. Our daughter is a kindergartner and our son just turned four years old. We see her on average two times a month, sometimes more, and we honestly think of her as a friend of our family. Yes she cares for our children, but we feel very connected to her and, most importantly, our children adore her! Any family to hire Jordan would be gaining a truly reliable, caring, and genuine person. Her integrity is beyond measure and I'd be happy to recommend her for any family interested in a caretaker for their child(ren)!
