About Jordan

Nurturing a child's growth and supporting families inside and outside the classroom is one of my greatest professional motivations. For the past 5 years, I have learned a great deal working as a special education teacher in both math and reading settings for middle and high school students; including some after-school tutoring. Nowadays, I'm primarily teaching American Sign Language (ASL) with some special education classes as well. My goals are to help clarify or reteach challenging concepts, review testing material, and/or support organization skills (i. e. homework completion, due date tracking). While my primary comfort is with supporting students' math, reading, and writing skills, I am also comfortable working on other subjects to help with test prep.

Jordan tutored my daughter for 3 years (6th through 8th grade) in math. My daughter looked forward to their sessions and found them very helpful. Jordan would touch base with my daughter’s teachers to ensure she knew what they were studying and the test schedule. Would rehire Jordan in the future!
