About Jordan

After babysitting children with ages varying from infants to 16 years old, I have learned that I work well connecting with them. I also work in the Disability Resource Center as an Educational Aide and am a Michael Ward Scholar mentoring other students in the DRC. After growing up with ADHD, I pride myself in finding different ways to learn and comprehend material. I know that it can be hard to grasp the lessons taught in school because every student learns differently and sometimes it just takes hearing, seeing and trying it in a different way. From experience, I believe that no two people learn the exact same way. I hope that I can help you and your family to grasp subjects I have already excelled in. Math has always been my strongest suit. I came into college with all of my math credits, including AP Calculus. I am also very skilled in English, Writing and Reading. I have worked with many kids over the years. I have learned ways to reach kids struggling by watching my mom, who has been a Kindergarten teacher for the past 13 years and tutored my whole life. I know I am not an actual teacher, but if there is a way I could be of service, I would love the opportunity.
